Who is TSIBA?

TSIBA is a leading South African educational institution and social enterprise that connects business education with social purpose. TSIBA has provided over 9,500 annual scholarships to underserved students, and boasts a 89% graduate employment rate.

The Business School forms one part of a pioneering and unique social enterprise that includes an Ignition Academy and Education Trust, each working together to provide world-class business education at an exceptional value. Both the cost of tuition and the students at TSIBA are supported with generous fee subsidies ensuring access to excellent business education at relative levels of affordability and removing financial barriers to tertiary education.

The TSIBA Global offerings (including Elevate) supports this vision by hosting international students at their Campus in Cape Town for Summer/Winter Residencies, Semesters Abroad as well as Cultural and Social Entrepreneurship Immersions. Each visiting student helps fund a place for a deserving student at TSIBA Business School. This is not just eco-tourism but a mutually beneficial skills and cultural exchange that elevates both themselves and others.

As part of its Internationalisation efforts TSIBA collaborates with various Institutions on research, faculty exchanges and content creation projects such as a collaboration with the SBS Business School and University of Applied Sciences Institute who will offer three of their most sought-after executive education offerings to the TSIBA Business School.

Their 2024 Impact Report highlights the significant progress TSIBA is making in building socially conscious, career-focused graduates who are ready to thrive in global markets. Their students have all won their place through talent and determination and alumni include 8 Rhodes Mandela scholars, 3 Kofi Annan scholars, 2 United Nations PRME Global Student Regional Leaders and 8 Orbis Foundation fellows.
